Change G/L Account length

Hi,

I'm working with lastest versions of Bussines Central Online. I'm trying to import a journal from external Accounting software. In this software, users worked with 9 digits account. I'm looking for a way to change 7 digits limit for G/L account, wtith no exit. Can anyone help me?

    The G/L Account No is 20 digits max. There is no need to change G/L Account Length.

    Hi Teddy.

    The Issues is when I try to pass the "Test plan de cuentas" (This name is in spanish, I think this is "Ident Chart of Accounts" in English), Bussines Central tells me that I have an Account number with 9 digits and the max length for account numbers is 7 digits.

    Is there any place where I cant change this constraint from 7 digits to 9 digits?

    I just tried to create and indent 20 digits account no. No issue.

    It's either extension or country specific localization that has the incorrect length.

    Hi again Teddy,

    Reviewing my process, I detected that I have accounts with 7 and 9 digits. BC does not permit auxiliar accounts with different lengths. I configure all to 9 digits and I solve my problem.
