the field "Conract ID" is a searchable record, when i'm in the All contract view, i can search for any contract IDand i can find it.

if i go to the IN Active Contract view, i can see the list of inactive records, but the quick find shows none if i search for any,

what did i missed?

    Hi Shaka,

It is worth checking the filter criteria for your views. For more information on views read this article.

Check what are all the quick find columns configured, add all the needed searchable attributes inside Quick find view design.

i followed the article here, i found that the Contract ID already selected in the quick find, and yes it finds the record as long as its status is Active, but when the record status is Inactive the search couldn't fetch it

so some settings there make the search only limited to the active records, how to configure the quick find to search for both active and inactive records

    Hi Shaka,

Check for the filtering criteria(Edit Filter Creiteria-under view editor) , it may be the criteria only configure to search only in activite records, you can remove this and it will search record in both active and inactive

    Hi Shaka,

You need to change the filter criteria for your view. The below image is an example of a filter criteria that will display both active and inactive contract records.

Good, then just clear the view filter if you find any filter conditions in quick find view design.
