    Hello,

Is field locked and read only or whole form is locked?

Click on form, then open locked field (name) and uncheck "Read only".

Then of course save and publish form. After refreshing you should be able to put name.

Also you may check if there is any business rule that prevents from typing account name.

No, beacuse even if you would create workflow, which fill name after saving record from for eg. two fields, you can not save this record, because field "name" is required.

How would you like to give an input to the account name field. If you are giving manually, please  try the below option.

    1.Dont Lock the field intially

    2. Create a Business Rule in below condition

    3. If Account Name contains data "Lock the Account Name field"

    Hi Sandeep Chandra,

Go to Form Editor. Select the Account Name field and click Change Properties. In the new window that appears as shown below, uncheck Lock the field on the form under the Locking section.

    Hope this helps.

Nithya, you are wrong. Sandeep has read-only field on form, not locked. Locking field prevents from removing it by accident when somebody removes whole section from form. If there is a locked field, then warning will appear:

What should be done, is uncheck read only box:
