    Hello,

Yes, you can manage Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASN) in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. ASNs are used to inform customers about the details of a shipment before it arrives. This includes information like shipment date, tracking number, and item details.

To set up and use ASNs in Business Central, you can follow these general steps:

    1. Set Up Shipping Agents: Define the shipping agents and their services in Business Central.

    2. Configure Shipping Methods: Set up the shipping methods that will be used for the ASNs.

    3. Create Shipments: When you create a shipment, you can generate an ASN that includes all the necessary details.

    4. Send Notifications: Use the notification features in Business Central to send the ASN to your customers.

Side note based on the initial reply, I think there should be a requirement to point out when a response has been generated from AI.

An ASN is simply informing your customer of what has been shipped.  The Posted Sales Shipment is the source for the information you need.  You could build a Job Queue to automatically send the Posted Sales Shipment report to the Customer when it is created.  You would want to add a flag on the Posted Sales Shipment to mark it as "Sent" so the Job Queue doesn't continually send the same shipment over and over.

    Hi,

I would say yes. You need to configure your outlook and if you don't want any custom code then Insight work https://dmsiworks.com/apps/dynamic-ship is really good app to consider.

    Thanks,
    Ramesh

I'm not sure what the specific requirements of Advanced Shipping Notifications you mentioned are, but in any case, if customized, it supports sending emails, sending teams message, internal notifications, etc.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
