Hi,

When I want to finish my production order I get the following error.

Qty. Picked (Base) must not be 40 in Prod. Order Component Status='Released',Prod. Order No.='RON000030',Prod. Order Line No.='10000',Line No.='10000'.

I use advanced warehouse configuration.

Everything is scheduled pick+backward

Thanks for the help!

Bert

    Hi Bert,

Thank you for contacting BC Support.  This is Bryan and I'll try to give you some pointers here.   There is a lot to this configuration/setup, but we'll do our best here to give you some direction.  It maybe tough though on a forum, as this can get really involved, may actually need a phone call/screenshare...but let's try it.

It's hard to know with just an error message here, it is better if we know what/how you got here.  How are things setup, configured?  What steps did you take.

You have DP&P set on your location, as mentioned using advanced warehouse.

Do you have this Location on the Production Order in the Posting Tab?

Is this the location showing within the Line > Components of the Prod. Order?

If you have your components set to "Pick+Backward", then this would mean when the Released Production Order was created, you first had to create a Warehouse Pick, TAKE those components on the pick from a "Pickable" bin and PLACE them into the bin specified as the 'To-Production Bin Code' on the Location Card used on the Production Order (or if specified on Work/Machine Center).  Also, this bin should be like a QC type of a bin, not Pickable, and set as Dedicated.   You don't want any other document to pick this.  Once they are in this bin, they are to be consumed on production.

Were the components always setup as "Pick+Backward" prior to the Released Prod. Order being created/refreshed?

Within the Line > Components, does it show flushing method of 'Pick + Backward"?

Within the Line > Components, does it show the proper bin (From the 'To-Production Bin Code')?

I know this is a lot, but needs to be covered.  Hopefully this sheds some light on the problem. Thank you.

    Bryan
