GPO 2016 R2 Workflow emails with Office 365 email actions are being converted to HTML

Hi All,

Hoping someone can help me, we have a client that implemented Workflow approvals for requisitions. The workflow and emails are working as expected through Office 365, however, when the user receives the email the approve and reject button are no longer a button instead replaced with a HTML string. Even if you copy and paste that string into your browser it will not work.

Has anyone seen this before? any solutions? suggestions?

Hello,

It sounds like you're running into the behavior noted in the following blog:

community.dynamics.com/.../microsoft-dynamics-gp-workflow-2-0-email-links-being-removed-from-email-notifications-sent-to-approvers

If you're using gmail or the Apple e-mail apps the action buttons can be disabled. There is a possible workaround mentioned in the article if you're using gmail, but nothing that we've found for IOS at this time.
