What are the typical customization requests by companies?

Hi:

My company is a software development company using mostly c# and dotNet. We are now moving to become a Microsoft licensed partner for CRM. Our staff has already completed 5 of the certification exams. My question is this....where can I find out what are they typical customization requests that purchasers of Dynamics CRM usually ask for. I am particularly interested on those that may require JavaScript and C# plugin development.

    Hey,

    1. Third party website integration with CRM.

    Explanation : We assume that customer can buy CRM for sales. Lead and contact is main need of any sales process. Customer have it own company website and that have simple form of contact us. Interested person can fill this form and it will be must stored in his CRM as a lead or contact so they can do follow to this contact.

    2. Sales process automation.

    Explanation : Some time customer requirement is when lead is created  then contact should be created in CRM. Now contact is already created for this lead then lead qualified it should be not creating contact of this lead. For all process we need to create plugin.

    3. Put some client side field validation on CRM entity form.

    Explanation : This time you have to use java script on form load , form save and any field change.

    4. Get selected price list all product when order is created.

    Explanation : This time you have to create plugin and custom workflow.

    5. Sales person route planning.

    Explanation : You can create this functionality using html and java script web resource. Sales person can knows his today's optimize route from his appointment created by sales manager in google map.

    Customization for CRM

    Based on the each company we have to adapt their business needs with in CRM for that we create entity(new table) and enable form needs.

    Some customization we have to use java script and plugin. But most of them we have to use workflow,business rule

    Some time based on customer needs we use third party addon's like tax validation, address validation and so on.

    Some custom they want to integrate CRM with other system for that we go for plugin and services.
