Deprecation of In-App Marketing functionality from Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise and others - WHEN??

It would seem obvious that the In-App Marketing tools available within most of the D365 CE based applications will eventually be removed. As Microsoft moves the focus on the Power Platform and Dynamics away from application suites and into focused apps there must be a defined timeframe for this functionality to be removed. 

Does anyone know when this is planned to happen? I am working on a feasibility study of using the In-App Marketing functionality and knowing it end of life is crucial.

    Hi Henry, 

    Any particular reason why you feel that they would remove the in-app marketing tools?

    The Dynamics 365 Marketing App is an add-on and has an additional cost associated with it.

    So, if there is a Non-Profit Organisation which works with schools in a county and wants to Send Bulk-Email to their students, the In-App Marketing tool is a great fit for them without the additional cost and there are lots (and lots) of such organisations which uses Dynamics 365 CE. 

    Any particular reason why you think that it would seem obvious that In-App Marketing tools will be removed?

    FWIW, I am not aware of any announcements / any proposals to remove the In-App Marketing modules (happy to be corrected!) and would go with the information currently available on the Product pages for your feasibility study.

    Thanks for the warning. I am also going to use In-App Marketing. Including for sending letters. I would be grateful if you could inform us about the timing if you know it.
