SYNC VARIANT FROM SHOPIFY TO BC AS AN ITEM

Hi community,
 
We have an item in Shopify with three (3) variants now we want to sync each variant from shopify to Business central as an separate item. Can you please help me how I can sync variant from shopify to Business central as a separate item.

    Looking at the documentation this should be possible. Here are the supported methods for the BC Shopify integration - Add an item as a Shopify variant | Microsoft Learn and Add an item as a Shopify variant | Microsoft Learn
     
    From the documentation you may want to check your Shopify Shops settings in BC and test with the following settings:
    • Sync Item - From Shopify
    • Auto Create Unknown Items - Optional but recommended to Toggle on
    • Item Template Code - Select a template if Auto Create is enabled
    • Variant Prefix - Check to see if this is populated
    • SKU Mapping - Item No. (this should signify what is created in BC)
    Hopefully that can help you get closer to syncing the variants as separate items.

    Hello,
     
    Not possible in standard.
    Shopify variants always sync to Item Variants in BC — never as separate Items.
    To make each variant a standalone Item, you need a customization or turn each variant into its own Shopify product.

    Hello,
     
    Shopify’s standard Business Central connector maps product variants as Item Variants under one Item, not as separate Items, so to sync each variant as its own Item you need a customization or API-based integration.
