Shelf lables not printing out the product name

Hi,

I have setup store and label reports to print shelf label, it is working but i just wondered why it does not print the item name? Could it be something wrong with the item setup?

Hi MS Burog,

It could be related with the design of the label. Are you using a standard label report or customized?

Hi Andre',

Just the standard one, and using zpl printer. From the released product, I select Print product label then select the report name RetailLabelCartonLabel

This is the output i am getting. There should be a product name under the item number:

Do you get the product name on another printer or another user is getting the correct result?

Hi Andre',

We have three different tenants in our D365, it works on the other tenants but for one tenant in doesn't. I thought it is something about the language settings but they are all the same.

Thanks for the additional information. What exact languages did you verify? The system language and also the legal entity and user language?

Is there a difference in security between the different environments where it is and is not working? Is a system administrator able to print the label without issues? If the system administrator is having the correct result, it could be related to permissions.

I do have system admin access, but that's the output I get. I think i t would be something on the item card, just not sure which part that I missed.

A developer would be able to reverse engineer the logic or could debug the label report to see what exact call is done to get the product names. Then this might give an answer what exact configuration is considered or missing.
