Mass Deleting Person Type contacts using configuration package

Hi All

I want to mass delete contacts but only want to delete "Person" (not company) type contact. In other words not delete contact record of customers and suppliers. Is this possible from a configuration package or any other method? When using "Delete records before importing", it deletes all records

    Hi

    My recommendation is not try it through Configuration Package. You can ask your BC partner or your developer to design the page to delete them. 

    But if you want to do it through configuration package then you need to take the entire contact Table as a Excel file. You should not filter anything and should include all fields. Then delete the lines you do not need in Excel file then select "delete records before importing" and upload. 

    Please note that is the best practice to keep the copy of first excel file as backup since that is your only method to recover the data if needed.

    Hi, I agree with MahGah, I think you just export all the Contacts first, delete the "Person" row in Excel.

    Then select "Delete records before importing", and import it into the BC.
