How can I remove a "particular" window from VBA, if GP is registered only for "Customization Site Enabler" license?

Hello All,

My customer is having a license only for the "Customization Site Enabler" and they are not having a license for the "Modifier".

In my local machine, I have developed a VBA customization which contains many GP windows and exported it as a package.

I am able to import the package into the client machine, because they are having "Customization Site Enabler" license.

Now my question is,

Since, they don't have a license for the "Modifier", How to remove a “particular” window from VBA or Modifier?

Thank you..

Prakash

Did anyone face this problem? Is there any workaround available for this issue?

    Hi

There's two ways I've done this (altough I don't know if this is the right way, you colud give it a try)

    The first:

Go to the Microsoft Dynamics folder in program files, sub folder GP and rename the Dynamics.vba project. This will clear the code asociated to the windows. Then, in the subfolder Data, rename the FORMS and REPORTS dictionaries. All this, clear the whole package installed, then you could export from your package only the windows you want and install them in your client.

    The Second:

If you only have the .package file: Open it in notepad. Find the name of the window you don't want to import and erase all the block. The block begins with <Component Name= "name of window"> and closes with a </Component>

    Hope this help!
