At one retail store, we have two
POS registers: On one of the registers, when "F12: Tender" is
activated, a small dialog box opens that says, "Waiting for tender
selection". When the box's Continue button is clicked, the Tender
window opens allowing the cashier to enter the tender amount and complete the
sale. The message does not appear on the second POS register.
While not a critical error, the small "Waiting for tender selection" box is an annoying extra step that does not happen on the other register. I'm hoping that someone can shed some light on why the annoying box opens and how to prevent it in the future.
It just seems weird that it would tell me it's waiting for tender selection before the tender window even opens....
