Bank Rec. Worksheet missing in Update 23.0.12034.12676

Posted on by 348

The Bank Rec. Worksheet page (10120) was removed  in the recent Update 23.0.12034.12676.

Now BC users are forced to use the Auto-Match format.

Microsoft said that /this functionality.../ referring to the Bank Rec. Worksheet would be continued if users enabled this in Feature Management. That was misleading. How can we convince Microsoft to put back the Bank Rec. Worksheet?

Why would Microsoft take away the /old-fashioned/ Bank Rec format in favor of Auto-Match? My clients' accountants dislike Auto-Match.

I think Microsoft rearranged the localization functions and W1 version functions, and then removed the duplicate functions. And in recent versions, Microsoft added some localization features to the W1 version and then removed the local features.
    For example, Bank Deposits feature

And E-documents core as a global solution

In addition, manual matching can also be done in Bank Acc. Reconciliation.

    Hope this helps as well.
    Thanks.

    Hi Steve,

Based on the Microsoft Document, In the October 2023 Wave 2 Release the Bank Reconciliation and Deposits feature are no longer available for North America versions.
See the following Document for important information about this deprecated functionality.

I do not know the way to convince Microsoft to put back the Bank Rec. Worksheet. Maybe you can try to contact Microsoft Support to get the further assistance.

    Best Regards,
    Judy
