currency exch. rate service Switzerland - 403 forbidden error

Hi, 

we receive an error when trying to enable the currency exch. rate service for Switzerland.
Does anyone have more information about how to solve this and why this is suddenly happening?

    Hi, Since this currency exchange rate service is free, its stability cannot be guaranteed. I recommend exploring alternative providers for better reliability.

    The 403 error means the Swiss rate provider is blocking the call from Business Central, not that BC is misconfigured. The Currency Exchange Rate Service just performs a simple outbound HTTP request, and if the endpoint returns 403 Forbidden, it indicates an access restriction (for example IP filtering, bot protection, required headers, or geo restrictions). That’s why it may still open in your browser but fail from BC (BC calls from Microsoft cloud IP ranges, not your local PC).
    Most likely the provider recently tightened security. The usual solutions are: switch to a rate feed that allows anonymous machine access, ask the provider to whitelist Microsoft datacenter IPs (often difficult), or place a small proxy (e.g., Azure Function) between BC and the Swiss endpoint and point BC to that proxy instead.
