    There is only one situation where you can connect to the production environment from VS code.

    Hi,
     
    Based on last line it seems you are trying to download production environment which is not allowed.
     
    Change the launch.json and map to Sandbox environment for downloading symblos.

    You have to download the symbols from Sandbox environment and not Production.
