Disable email and phone call creation from field icons in account form

Hi Experts,

I am wondering if anyone managed to disable the email and phone call icons in account/contact forms from creating email/ phone call records. Please see the below image where highlighted in red. I want these icons disabled so that creation of activity is blocked for the users?

Hi Partner,

This is not possible to disable the action of these Icons. its by design

It’s technically possible, but only if you use different PCF controls for those fields, not the default ones.

For example this control exists for email address fields: https://pcf.gallery/email-text-field-control/

OOB There is no way to turn it off or hide these, Removing suggestion of Unsupported JS on Agreement with Henry. Thanks

Indeed unsupported JavaScript should not be considered here.

PCF controls are the only way to go to replace these controls on forms if the default email or phone behaviors are not the desired experience.
