Packing Slip print off is not showing any data?

Hi,

I have customized my Packing Slip forms as:

Blank form is Customized Packing List according to our requirements.

Long Form as customized delivery note according to our requirments.

 

Both the forms showing the data at my own System where as when upload to  sales and warehouse guys systems but not showing up any data and just empty cusotmized form is opened.

when i try to open it with short form which is not customized yet so it shows a message in print " Item shipped directly from Vendor" is it the reason if this is the case then why it is not at my system?

 

can some one advise here as its take long time to get answers on this forum.

    Are you using standard GP Report Writer reports or is this a third party product?

    I've experienced blank report printing with third party products (missing data but anything static like logos and lines still show up).  This is usually due to an ODBC connection difference between the development environment and production.

    Hi Mike.

    I am using standard GP report writer. yes exactly the same, where i can see a blank form but no data.

    can some advise where could be the real problem because it works on my system but not on other user.

    Zee, as Mike suggested, you need to check the ODBC settings between your Dev and Production environments to make sure they are the same.

    BTW, Zee, the reason it can take a long time to get a reponse on the forum is because it is a User forum monitored by volunteers who contribute their time free gratis to help the community.  And sometimes, it's because no one has the answer at their fingertips.
