I am curious as to how I can be notified or visually review/see when users within my team on Dynamic CRM create notes, add a phone call, create a task, etc... I want to be able to see for example when Joe (a user on my CRM account) creates a note for a contact adds a phone call, or creating tasks for other users within CRM etc...

For instance, I create phone call tasks for Joe once packages have been delivered to our customers (accounts) I then assign the task to Joe to make the call. How can I be notified when Joe has made the call but additionally, how can I be notified if Joe creates notes, assigns a task, etc... I want the ability to be notified anytime Joe creates a note, task, phone call record etc...

Any help is appreciated!

To start you might look at what CRM's workflow engine can provide. A workflow could could be created and run for example when a phone call is created. The is you want to know only when Joe creates the record, you can add a "check condition" to only perform further steps if the user is Joe. From there you could send an email indicating a new phone call was created.

Jason provides the most likely candidate for what you need.

    A few other options.

    1. Create a dashboard view with filters that shows scheduled/assigned as well as completed activities.

    2. The out of box Activities report does a pretty nice job of this (and it can be added to your dashboard if you want).

    3. The Activity Feeds feature actually auto-posts scheduled and completed activities. This may be going away but will be replaced with Yammer which will essentially have the same features.

    Hope some of these help!

    Mike
