What is the order of displayed Shipping Addresses for a Customer?

Under Customer Properties, the Shipping Address tab, the initial order of multiple addresses seems to be random. I would prefer it in descending order of DateLastUpdated, but that is not configurable. However, knowledge of the actual order would certainly help me (so I can reproduce it in my own SQL). Does anyone know the order?

Incidentally, the order is not on ID, DateLastUpdated, DBTimeStamp or any other of the fields that I can see in the database. It might depend on the actual SQL statements used to populate the list, but I can't reproduce it.
