I’m exploring a proof‑of‑concept scenario and would appreciate some technical insight.
Is it feasible to operate one Business Central tenant that handles only sales and purchasing (with no warehouse configuration enabled), while offloading all warehouse activities to a separate company running on a completely different tenant? The intention is for the second tenant to manage all advanced warehouse processes.
I’m particularly interested in whether this type of cross‑tenant operational split is technically achievable, and if so, what integration patterns or architectural constraints would need to be considered.
