Automatic record creation with source type 'Task'

Hi all,

I have created a record in 'automatic record creation and updation rules'.

I have given 'source type' as 'task' and also assigned this record for a queue(with valid email id).

In 'specify record creation and updation rules' i have created a rule like it should create a record in custom entity. Also i activated the record.

According to my point, whenever i create a task in any record in any entity, a new record should be created in custom entity. In my case, no records are created in custom entity. Am i going in the right way or i missed anything??

I think a new custom record will be created when a new task is added in the queue you have specified manually. You should write a workflow to add task to that queue whenever a task is created to automate the process

In order to get it working with Queue I have to add the task to Create Task Queue manually.
