Stock Counts and manufacturing allocations

We appear to have a large discrepancy with what the stock count sees and what are actually allocated.

as I understand it the stock count INCLUDES the allocations...but the allocations are wrong...throwing off this whole process.

I run reconcile on a regular basis...and we still have the issue

we are running version 2013 r2....is this a bug?

    Hi Tami,

Have you tried to run checklink against Manufacturing-Inventory.

let me define this better...in the item inquiry window by site item shows 96 onhand 36 allocated

it the stack count window show 96 onhand and 36 allocated...but when we go to verify the lot qtys..it shows 12 allocated and 84 available?

    Hi Tami,

This might be due to qty 12 of lot tracked item only added pick document on the inventory transactions window which might have not yet posted.  But by default all MO with released status automatically allocates the items.

I did run a check link on inventory and manufacturing inventory...

the inventory inquiry window shows what is allocated...the stock count main window shows what is allocated...the stock count entry window>lot\serial enrty shows different allocation qtys?

this appears to be a code error

we contacted Support and this is an issue where allocations get stuck in manufacturing tables ...for closed and cancelled WOs
