ECB Exchange Rate Service: only imports first rate

I have followed the steps in the video on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/finance-how-update-currencies

to setup the ECB service. See below.

But when running the job, it only imports the first exchange rate, in this case USD. Not any other rate in the xml https://www.ecb.europa.eu/stats/eurofxref/eurofxref-daily.xml

Any clue what might be wrong?

    Hi Maarten,

Which local version and which product version do you work with?

Did you try with a work date as per today ?

    Thanks

     Dirk

Dirk, I am using a BC insider 17 inside a docker with 'Base' as localization, because that default has company 'Cronus Internationl Ltd.' in it.

    Version: W1 17.1 (Platform 17.0.16960.0 + Application 17.1.16985.0)

Azure AD tenant: (blank), Environment: Sandbox (Sandbox)

What do you mean with 'work date as per today'?

    Hi Maarten,

From looking at your initial screenshot I see the comment ... work date is 24th October 2030.

Maybe there are no ex.rates to be expected using that date as workign date.

If you change the working date to TODAY ... Do you get a better result?

    Hi Dirk,

Changing the workdate to today does not make any difference.

It seems like there is a filter somewhere, but I can't find any in the Data Exchange settings.

    Hi Marten,

    I do get:

    pastedimage1601412644868v1.png

For the parent node I used:

      /gesmes:Envelope/Cube/Cube/Cube

Thanks Dirk. That did the trick!

I will ask MS to update their video on: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/finance-how-update-currencies

How do you tell BC what currencies you actually want to map in? Let's say I only want to map in EUR, GBP and USD currencies for example.
