Is it possible to set a hierarchy structure for contacts as you have for accounts (parent, child)? Thanks

Yes ! why not ? Establish a hierarchical relationship (there can be only one per entity).
Another way to do it by developing a html webresource using SVG and javascript (works with any relationship)
