Stuck in loop trying to login to Dynamics

I am a developer attempting to develop an integration with Dynamics 365. I have a developer account and have started a 30 day trial of Dymanics 365. I have assigned a license to the user in the admin portal. All fine.

If I click on the Dynamics 365 box in the All Apps (office.com) it takes me to home.dynamics.com and tells me that it is moving to office, if I click on "See your apps at Office" it takes me back to the office.com. There is a box below saying "You don't have any apps yet". The first box below that is "Dynamics 365" if I click on that it takes me dynamics.microsoft.com. I am logged in but it is a marketing landing site by the looks of it. If I select "Dynamics 365 Home" from the account menu (top right) it takes me back to home.dynamics.com and tells me that Dynamics has moved to office.

What am I missing?

I have the same question (0)

I am assuming you are not on a mobile device (if so the answer may be different), either setup has not had time to complete yet or did not complete, or you said you didn't want any apps when you setup.

To see your environments go to admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/environments

    - if all you see is <somename>(default) then Add New in the top left

    - If you have another environment in addition to the default, select it and go Resources->Dynamics365 Apps, then Install App (this should open a slide out panel) and then select and install an app (most likely Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise or Customer Service).

    Dynamics 365 Home is deprecated
    docs.microsoft.com/.../important-changes-coming

If you want to access the Dynamics 365 environment you created, you can go to the Power Platform admin center<admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/> or go directly to the URL<xxx.crmx.dynamics.com> of the environment.

Thank you both for trying to help.

I am logged into AAD and office.com but I can't login to admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com, I get the following:

    7446.pastedimage1606214096377v1.png

If I use what I believe my domain name should be (part before .onmicrosoft.com) in <domain>.crmx.dynamics.com it fails.

From your experience what is my best route to get support?

I managed to log in to powerplatform using Edge. My Environment didn't have a url and didn't have a datastore. I added a database and this produced a url and a Dynamics Apps link. If I go to the url, you go to Power Apps "Solutions Health Hub".

It seems like the freetrial hasn't been setup properly? Is there anyway to start again?

As per my first reply, you need to go here admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/environments (this is where you can see, add and manage existing dynamics 365 instances, including new trial instances).

The database that you setup is probably just the one that is needed for Power Automate and some other additional items not Dynamics 365 itself

If you keep getting Signin errors when attempt to go to the environments link above, open an incognito browser session (there are various issues that cause general signin issues and looping including you are logged into another Office 365, in you are attempting to access the wrong environment e.g. in make.powerapps the environment is in the top right of the header)

Thanks again. I contacted support and they walked me through creating a new environment. The default one created in the trial setup is of no use.

You have to create a new instance.

The Dynamics 365 link in office.com is of absolutely no use.
