If the goal is to reassign empty bins to another inventory site, then you can use the Site Bin Maintenance window to remove the bin from one site and assing it to another site. You will then have to use the Item Quantity Maintenance window to remove the items from the unwanted site to a new site. If you have that many items, you can record a macro for one item, then mail merge the macro in Word for all the other items in question. Take a look at the following article over at Developing for Dynamics GP to help you with the mail merging process http://blogs.msdn.com/developingfordynamicsgp/archive/2008/10/30/how-to-use-word-mail-merge-and-macros-to-import-data.aspx

    Thank you for the reply.

Say we have empty bins, we want to remove the bin location from GP altogether. Can we remove the bin entirely from a location without tranfering it to anther location?

You can remove a bin from a Site in Site/Bins Maintenance (Cards>Inventory>Bins/Site).

    Thank you.

I ment to ask how do i remove a location for an item with zero quanity.

    example:

    Site: OH-SRVSHIP

    Bin:  HP1, A

    PN: 12345678-001

When i run out of 12345678-001, i want to be able to remove 12345678-001 from Bin HP1, A without removeing the entire HP1, A bin location becuase we may have 20 other parts in HP1, A. How do I do so?
