I am wondering, how can I get an development/production environment to test changes I am making to my CRM Online environment before I roll them out to my staff?

Thank you

    Hi Nicole,

You can have a Sandbox environment for your Development and Testing. Please follow this article

    technet.microsoft.com/.../dn467371.aspx

    Hope that helps

    Hello,

IF you are using ms crm online and If you have more then 25 USL then you can get another online non production instance, that you can use as test environment. otherwise you need pay for it.

But if you are using onpremise deployment you can create another organization using deployment manager and can use this organization as a QA organization. Or can setup different QA server.

    Hope it will help you.

    Hi Nicole,

If you have more than 25 CRM licenses, you are eligible to obtain a non-productive instance.

Otherwise, you can purchase in the Office 365 portal by following the procedure below:

    1. In Office 365 portal, next to your signature, click "Add more" or "Buy Now"

    2. Open the tab 'Additional Add-on'.

    3. In the Additional Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Non-Productive Instance, type the desired number of test instances.

    4. Finally, click 'Checkout'.

Hi, We have over 25 licenses but when you go to Admin>CRM and click the instances tab, there is only the live instance in there. What are the steps to make the Sandbox one appear?

    Thanks.

My client just purchased an additional non-production environment.  How long should we have to wait for this new environment to show up in the CRM Admin portal?
