Dear All,

I have follow the following step to create the new company

http://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&q=cache:4uUy_jNtkLcJ:www.compresourcesinc.com/Support/Solutions/Creating%2520A%2520New%2520Company%2520in%2520FRx.docx.doc+select+default+company+in+frx&hl=en&gl=pk&pid=bl&srcid=ADGEESgViEhg5_BLnhg86za8unA94MORxro6nVaA28s7e8dDof3KyzfAGn5v_jFODrCKgdQC8DK3Fu3nMlKLsjqbKZQxH1K9p42VOc7oVBgFtaDYtsDbYie9P1zeo-VrX-QvPLy4B_Yd&sig=AHIEtbTsSCd3I_ESanedqxA53gyw_AWUNA

and when i set it as default, after user name and password , the following message appears :

FRx32.OFSIMain.CheckOFSIConnection
-2147221401: Error getting Dynamics version number from table Dynamics..DB_Upgrade

I have even installed latest SP, but still not. I am using GP 10 SP5

Update me

    Shahid,

Are you using "SA" user to login? if not does your user have enough permissions?

There is a problem connecting to the Dynamics database. This error literaly means that FRx can not query the version number from the db_upgrade table in the Dynamics db. It could be permissions as Mohammad suggests, or you could have an ODBC issue that it is not pointing to the correct server.

Most likely you mistyped something, or have a permission error. If you do not see the issue you can run a SQL Profile to see what FRx is doing to log in. The first thing it should do is attach to the Dynamics database and run a query that selects the version number. If you see zero activity that means you have an ODBC issue. If you see an error it will likely say failure to login or permissions or something similar.
