    Make sure that both Named Pipes and TCP/IP are enabled protocols in your SQL install.

    Also make sure that Named Pipes is first in line.

    Thanks Jeff,

    I made sure that both protocols are enabled in the SQL install (and that Named Pipes was first in line)

    Unfortunately we are still getting these errors intermittently for all 13 of our stores.

    We are on version 2.0.0162

    Make sure that HQ has access to its own temp files.  It varies depending on the OS

    Maybe a backup or AV scan is running at the same time blocking HQ.
