the prefix can't be changed for already created fields. You will need to delete the field and recreate it inside the solution containing the publisher (with the prefix) you want.

    hope it helps

    Hi,

It is not possible to change prefix for field that already exists.

The prefix of the fields and entity are based on the prefix of the publisher you choose.

You can create new publisher or change the prefix for the publisher and it will use same prefix for rest of new items.

Navigate to Settings > Customizations > Publishers.

The following links will help you change the prefix of  publisher.

    Hello Silvia,

Apparently the older fields that you created with the proper prefix ddg_, were created from within the solution where you put the correct publisher having the correct prefix, while for the field with the "new_" was created from outside your solution.

So make sure you open the correct solution with the proper publisher (with prefix "ddg_"), then go to the specified entity, and create the field. It will take the correct prefix.
