Physical Inventory Order Does Not Update Last Counting Period Update

Hi

We use Physical Inventory Order to cycle count serialized items because it is a more flexible tools than Physical Inventory Journal. But we realized Physical Inventory Order does not update Last Counting Period Update. 

Is this a wrong setup in our end,  bug, or system default? I mean we should be able to use "Physical Inventory Journal" or "Physical Inventory Order" to cycle count and the update counting period to use for the future count. 

Any help will be greatly appreciate it. 

We are on BC SaaS 19.5

    Are you using Calculate counting period to populate count sheets?

    Hi Guy 

    "Physical Inventory Order" does not have such an option. I know that we can say "Calculate counting period " in Physical Inventory Journal should be use to update that date. But Physical Inventory Order is another tools for cycle count and I do not know why it does not update the "counting" period.

    For some reason it is hidden.

    Go to Actions, functions and there is an option there to calculate counting period.

    I’ve not used it yet myself but assume it (hopefully) gives the necessary additional functionality.
