SQL Script to import inventory quantities from Excel?

Does anyone have a SQL script to import inventory quantities from an Excel worksheet?

I have a customer that we just implemented HQ.  None of the inventory quantities came over.  I think I'm wanting to update the storedata db in each store and then I can run a worksheet to update quantities in HQ.

If my thought process is wrong, please let me know.
