Auto generate batch number for purchase receiving using registration form

Hi All,

Is there any way to generate auto batch number in registration form if we are not using WMS apps to do the purchase receiving? Below is my setting in tracking number group.

I have scenario whereby one PO line for example ordered quantity is 500. I want to do partial registration 200,200,50 and I want the different batch number auto generated in the registration form.

If I use WMS apps the batch number is auto generated and has different number sequence everytime I do partial receiving.

Hi lvdtang,

But the batch number sequence will not create new if I partial register the quantity right?

I don't see why it would stop you from auto-generating batch numbers if you partially receive. Just make sure you split the right qty in the registration form before registering.

Good day,

In case of a partial receipt, the batch number will be also created automatically.

The settings of my tracking number group are:

I get two unique batch number during the registration (for each partial receipt a new batch number)

Hi,

See if this helps

Target - To generate a unique batch number automatically every time we do purchase order line registration using registration form

1 - Number group as below

2 - Create a new PO

3 - Split the lines as you wanted (200 / 200 / 50)

4 - Perform first registration by bringing down the line to the bottom grid and update location and license plate only. Later click confirm registration.

5 - Similarly perform registration or other two lots of 200 and 50. All three lines got automatic batch, and they are unique as I am using number sequence in combination with purchase order number.
