Purchase order error

We are getting the error below when trying to receive against a Purchase Order.  It is only happening for one of our Vendors. I have tried looking online for similar errors but have not found any.   any idea whats causing it?  how do I get by it?

    I am afraid I would be quite hesitant to assume or provide any suggestion which would be just invalid. My only valid suggestion would be to track it on using the SQL Profiler and check why a null value is passed , and for which stored procedure it is being passed ..etc

    Just to add to what Mahmoud has mentioned...

    This might be an issue relating to a 3rd party product/addon.  Are you using any addons that may affect IV or POP?  If so, do you get the message if you disable the addon?
