
A client is new to Business Central coming from GP. The issue is that they are entering invoices in December, but they are in January and they would like to have the posting date and ship date update when the Document date is changed. I have told them to change the work date so all three dates come in, but users are forgetting.
1) Is this possible in some setting that I am just missing.
2) Could a customization handle this and would this be a complex extension or a simple one? (I am new to extensions)

there is no setting.
you can write a simple extension in Onvalidate of document date to change remaining dates
