Assembly Order Unit of Measure

Hello

I am trying to assemble and item with an assembly BOM, and it is Assemble to Stock. Whenever I select the unit, it returns an error message "The field Unit of Measure Code of table Assembly Header contains a value (PCS) that cannot be found in the related table (Item Unit of Measure).

The unit of measure code on the assembly order is PCS, and everything in the assembly BOM is set to PCS, except for some resources which is HRS (assembly time). I have other assembly BOMs that use HRS within them, and can assemble those fine.

Please help, what am I missing here with the unit of measure?

is PCS exist in the item unit of measure for the item that you going to produce ?

The Base unit of measure on the item card is set to PCS, but when the item is selected on the assembly order and the error is returned, it does not select a unit of measure automatically, and I cannot select one from the list

go to the Item Card -> Navigate -> Item -> Unit of measure. Check if PCS is in there

That's fixed it, thank you so much.

Why do some items automatically fill in this field, and others it does not fill in this field? All our items have been set up the same way....

do you create the item by import from excel or other system ?

Import from excel for majority, however I believe this item was added manually

Now when I enter a quantity of this item to assemble, the same error is returned for the quantity line
