Area Pages Repeating in Financial Module

A user is noticing a lot of repeating boxes labeled Financial on the Financial page.  It makes the page very slow to load.

I see a bunch of repeating Financial boxes in the Customize your area page.

Unfortunately, when we remove even one of them, Microsoft stops responding.  Is there another way to remove the boxes?  Can I delete the records out of the SY07140 table for this user and for 

CmdParentDIctID = 0

CmdParentFormID = 1568

CmdParentCmdID = 300

as listed in this article?
