How to work with Hosted Dynamic CRM?

Hello,

I am working on MS Dynamic CRM Online.

In MS Dynamic CRM Online, I know following things. But in Hosted Dynamic CRM, I don't know about following things

1- Does Partner Hosted MS Dynamic CRM provide all functionality which provided by CRM Online?

2- Does Partner Hosted MS Dynamic CRM has same UI as MS Dynamic CRM Online?

3- In Partner Hosted MS Dynamic CRM, can I create Managed and Unmanaged package same as I can create MS Dynamic CRM Online?

4- In Partner Hosted MS Dynamic CRM, can I customize default functionality same as I can create MS Dynamic CRM Online?

All above questions are related to Microsoft Dynamic CRM 2016. As I am beginner, I don't know much about Partner Hosted Dynamic CRM. So, I don't know whether my questions are valid or not?

Please suggest.

    Thank you Guido.

I have few more questions if you can guide me for it.

5- Does Office 365 account use for Hosted Dynamic CRM same as it uses for CRM Online?

6- If so, do I need to buy 2 license?

        1- for CRM

2- Host Dynamic CRM license from partner?

       If not,

Which account use for CRM and what to manage license in it?

    Please guide.

A hosted partner could work with Office 365 or your on-premise Exchange.

The hosted partner solution will effectively be a hosted version of CRM on-premise. This does have some limitations compared to online. Also releases of new versions tend to come to online first. And you have no guarantee on when the partner would upgrade their hosted environment! (I personally would opt for CRM Online over a partner hosted solution.)

You will only need to buy one CRM license.

    Thank you Neil.

It means I have to buy 2 license for Hosted CRM (1 of CRM and 1 for Hosted Parter). For, CRM only, I have to buy 1. Let me know if I understand wrong.

You would buy one license for hosted CRM from the partner.

Or you would buy 1 license for CRM online.

Obviously you would have other licenses involved with either option for your related email / exchange systems.

Can I ask  .... what benefit do you see in being with a hosted partner? Unless they are providing a customized solution for your needs I am unsure why you wouldn't go with Microsoft Online. Or are there benefits you see with of being with a partner I am unaware of???

The reason for thinking Hosted CRM was Reports. I am working on a new concept. In that I provide service using WCF. Everything is done. My release is stuck just because of Report PDF functionality. Our front developer need Report PDF file of OrderID in bytes array. I have tried to search. All suggest that I must use Hosted CRM to get report functionality. I got answer here : community.dynamics.com/.../558378

But it is in Java Script rather WCF. I don't know how to manage it in WCF service.

You can help me in that post.
