Dynamics SL 6.5 System message 5003 when using Window 7

It has been two or three years since my office used Dynamics SL 6.5. Most of our PCs are running Windows Vista. Recently My office buy new Windows 7 PCs then I try to install Dynamics SL 6.5 on two PCs. These new Windows 7 PCs all meet the same problem. When I try to log on Dynamics SL 6.5, I receive the system message 5003(Unable to open the server database 10004). But the old PCs (Running Windows Vista) can normally log on SQL Server 2005. I think the operation of SQL Server is normal. How could I solve the problem? Someone can help me? Thanks!!

    Hello Bruce.

There is an article on Customer source that might be helpful.  Article ID: 875704 or just search in there with "System message 5003 Windows 7 SL 6.5"

There are three things that you can do that will probably make SL work on Win7.

    1. Upgrade to 7.0FP1 - this works great and gets the site to current.

    2. Upgrade to 6.5 SP3 - this is easy. SP3 works with the UAC on.

    3. Turn off the UAC. - this works on Vista, may work on Win7
