Unable to install SL 2015 WebApps

When attempting to proceed past the Reporting page of the webservices install, we get the following message:

"The Windows Service did NOT install Properly.  Typically this is caused by an incorrect Service User Password."

We have verified the account/password being used - so this is not a password issue.

    Hi Richard,

    I believe this needs to be deal with Windows Service credentials. Can you check with the web app log file. That can be available at C:\ProgramData\Microsoft Dynamics SL\WebServiceLogs.

    Please let me know how it goes.

    service account (even though an admin) had to have specific rights to the install directories
