Hi,
We have a Production Demand on the Order Planning.
We can see on the Demand Order No field the Production Order
But when we start to make orders and create Production Order for the demand, we are unable to trace from which demand order no it was.
What we really need is, when a new Production Order was created from the Order Planning, we must be able to trace from which demand order number it came from.
Is there any way to trace it?

Have you checked the Production Order line for Reservation Entries? This would tie the Prod. Order Output back to the Demand Source. If you don't see any Reservations, check your Item setup to see what your Reserve policy is set for. Generally Order Planning is a 1:1 process, so you should be able to generate the Reservation Entries.
As a side note, you should look into the Planning Worksheet instead of Order Planning. You get much greater flexibility into your replenishment options, while still maintaining the ability to generate 1:1 orders if you want.
