Grouping of transfer order picking by Item number

Hi All,

Can someone please provide the steps to group transfer order picking lines by item number. Customer can have multiple Transfer orders with different items, they want to see picking list based on item numbers (same items grouped for picking). Is it possible?

We are using Advanced warehousing, WMS mobile app

Hi,

If I understand you right, your customer wants to see all picking list that containes an item or a group of items. Is my understanding correct?

If so, then you may consider advanced filter and sort on the Picking list registration page.

Join the table «Inventory order transaction» and filter on the desired item or items.

If you want to configure the system to consolidate multiple picking list with the same item number in order for workers to pick the sum, you may consider enabeling the feature «pick line grouping». Note that this feature is used primary for the sales orders.
A certain configuration need to be made on the mobile device and a work template should be configured.

@mia... Pick line grouping feature will group same items in an order together. If I have a sales order with multiple lines of the same item, system will group them my item number.

My requirement is different- Customer can have multiple Transfer orders, they want a picklist based on items.

My advice is to configure sorting and a work header break on the work template for the work order type Transfer issue.

Hi,

You can easily achieve by using system directed cluster picking.

See below

1 - I created 2 transfer order with 2 items in them for 11 pcs each.

2 - Now i released both transfer orders to warehouse which generated 2 picking work one for each transfer order.

3 - Now I will use system directed cluster picking option,

4 - Now login to mobile device and start picking consolidated qty

You can see that in step 2 and 4 both items were picked in consolidated fashion for 22 pcs for both works in one go.

For this as soon as I started the picking system generated a work cluster and grouped the transfer orders work. This is because of the query used in the mobile device menu item.

Work cluster which was generated by the system automatically. This way you can filter all transfer issue work and pick them in a consolidated fashion.

@Sagar Suman I followed your steps but when I use I am using the mobile device menu item I am getting this message "Not enough work can be found for Cluster". Also, when I click" work cluster" I don't see any work created. Maybe some setups are missing, can you please share screenshot of "Cluster profile ID" or if I need to setup work template or anything else?
