Financial Batch stuck printing

I have general Entry Batch stuck with the status Printing, when we try to open it we get error the batch is being posted. all the use did was print the batch for review

This is a common issue, it is caused by a connection glitch which resulted with having the batch stuck at a specific status without being able to proceed. In order to have this resolved, review knowledge base article

You briefly have to update the batch master table

UPDATE SY00500 SET MKDTOPST=0, BCHSTTUS=0 where BACHNUMB='XXX'

We are still using Dynamics 10. This helped me, the KB article cited following the "Fix It Myself" directions, we were able to get the batch restored to available status.
