SL Intercompany Inventory Transfer

Is there a creative way in SL to affect an inventory transfer across two distinct companies.  Both companies are in the same database and share the same part numbers.  Inventory will be received and stored in one company and will need to be transferred and issued from the other? 

Please advise.  Look forward to a response

    You need to do an issue in the company that receives the items to do the transfer-out and a receipt in the other company to do the transfer-in, a customization could be done to ensure that the quantities and amounts are the same in the receipt than in the issue.

    Can call MaxQ Technologies (which I work for), there is a semi-automated product (Called, shockingly enough, Inter-company transfer)

    Can check:  softwareconnect.com/.../

    Possible Methods include:

    "Magic" adjustments (out from one company, in to the other)

    Sale from one, po in the other, shipment/receipt (need work to "Ship", since goes through OM) (Advantage:  Clear audit trail, and costing handled though normal means)

    That sounds exactly like what we are looking for

    Appreciate the feedback.  Funny, I had previously looked through both Plumbline and Max Q products, and did not see anything related to inventory transfers.  

    Looks like its buried in the Supply Chain series.  Either way will discuss with the client, and will follow up with your group later in the week.  Thanks!
