Our SOX internal audit people are looking for a report that describes what each of our security classes allow a user assigned to them access to. Is there a smartlist or query that will allow me to collect this information?
The classes you can find in the Advanced Security screen by navigating to Tools->Setup->System->User Classes and selecting the "Classes Only" option in the bottom right frame. Our audit team wants an automated way of knowing what each of those classes can do.
NOTE: This is a repost, as my previous ask got buried.

Jeremy,
This forum is for Dynamics GP, you may want to re-post on the AX forum.
Kind regards,

did you ever get an answer to your question. we are installing AX2012 and we are being asked the same questions:: system generated user access reports, user permissions, changes to users roles, changes to roles, disabling user reports
been told to look into Fast path, but they are even balking about knowing how to configure thier tools to capture changes to SOD in roles, ....
everyone is just hoping my requests will go away. auditors are not going away.
i would think that this should be standard functionality for a ERP system

Advanced security was in GP 9, what version of GP are you using?
