Is there a way to trigger plugin on ExecuteQuickFind message. I want to customize the CRM 2015 global search using plugin. On search retrievemultiple/execute is not triggering.

    Thanks Joe. But i am trying to intercept the CRM global search not the quick find search. You are talking about the quickfind.

    CRM triggers the ExecuteQuickFind  on global search.  I am not able to see that message through plugin registration tool . I also tried to register the plugin on ExecuteQuickFind  through code but still no luck.

    I thought the global search called the quick find search for each of the configured entities on separate threads so that why I suggested my link. Let me know what you discover

    Hello,

    After quick check using Fiddler I can confirm that global search uses mentioned "ExecuteQuickFind" message. Based on SDK this message is not supported with plugins. So if you work with CRM Online your best chance (and the only one) is to handle RetrieveMulriple message. If you work with onpremice you can try to activate mentioned message for plugins - crmpro.blogspot.com/.../registering-plugins-for-event-on-many.html you can use this article as a sample how you can do it.
