Hi All

I'm a bit confused as to how to set up Job Queue so for example it runs every Friday at 10pm (once per week) so for a 4 week month it only runs 4 times

Thanks

    Hi Samantha,

    Simple Solution,

Go to Job Queue Entry Card.

    Then Expand the Recurrence.

    Enable the "Run on Fridays"

    Starting Time: 10PM onwards

    No. of Minutes between Runs: (60 x 24 x 7) = 10,080 - this is the minute value for 7days

    Advanced Solution,

Subscribe to CU 448 - Job Queue Dispatcher 'OnCalcNextRunTimeForRecurringJobOnAfterCalcNewRunDateTime' event and do your modification according to your needs.

I think you could use a setup like this if you set the earliest start date time to your nearest coming Friday at 10pm

So you have to set the initial start time then you need to calculate the number of minutes in a week ( 24 hours times 60 minutes times 7 days) and put this Value in the number of minutes between runs. That should do it
