Good afternoon everyone.
Recently, we had a sales batch that we transfer to invoice on an hourly basis get interrupted over a weekend and I didn't receive any notifications from the program we use to automate invoicing (Post Master) that any issues happened. I am trying to create a report for if/when a sales transfer to invoice batch gets interrupted and needs to be recovered. I forced a batch to error out in our test environment to look at any and all flags in the SY00500 table and see if I can find anything before a user opens up GP and gets the message that the batch needs to be recovered. I understand that there are the ERRSTATE and the BCHSTTUS fields which do have values representing if there is an issue with a batch. However, values in the fields don't update before the user logs back into GP and gets the error message that a batch needs to be recovered.
Would anyone happen to know of a way that I can look for errored batches before the BCHSTTUS or ERRSTATE fields get updated or any good way to create a notification that a transfer or posting was interrupted?
