Planning Worksheet not calculating into 2024

Have a demand forecast set for 2024.
 
 
in the planning worksheet, run the calculate with the following parameters
 
 
suggestions for new purchases are all lumped to Dec 31 / 2023 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
- lot accumulation on item card AND SKU is set to 1M 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
main question: 
Why wont it put requested purchase due dates into 2024 ? Just lumps it to Dec 31 2023

    You planned 100 on 1st of Jan 2024. To get ready this production/purchase must be done before that.

    remove all filters and just keep the date range. it should take the 2024 forecast into account.

    Make sure you have an Accounting Period setup for 2024.
    If that doesn't fix it, then check if you need to do the Calculate Work Center Calendar.
